He said that Shia Muslims too, like other communities, have right to hold religious congregations in the light of SOPs which President of Pakistan announced during meeting with Ulema.

Shia Islamic scholars and notables vowed they would not accept ban on their religious congregations on martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (AS).
They said that provincial governments of Sindh and Punjab were trying to prevent mourning events on Youm-e-Ali.

Furthermore, they warned these governments to end biased decisions based on double standards against Shia Muslims while allowing non-Shia congregations.

Meanwhile, they also demanded end to enforced disappearance of Shia Muslims. They demanded produce them in court if the captors want to charge them.

They backed the idea of Life with Corona which Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has floated.

MWM leader opposed halting the commercial activities during lockdown which create multiple problems for the mases.
