Shia Islamic scholars decide congregational prayers with 2-foot distance while ensuring self-discipline and related precautionary measures.
They made this decision in a meeting held at Jamia Mukhzanul Uloom in Multan. However, the took this decision only for Multan.

Congregational prayers leaders, Friday prayers leaders and Islamic scholar and speakers attended the meeting.
Veteran scholar Allama Mohammad Taqi Navi presided the meeting.
Senior scholars decided that they would not lay carpets, etc on floor of mosques and Imam Bargahs. They decided that they would ensure followers and prayers leaders distance must not reduce from at least 2-foot (ft).
Similarly, Shia namazis would maintain distance of at least 2 ft from one another.
They would ensure cleanliness besides daily spray. Moreover, they would ensure no hugging and handshake would take place.
Likewise, they would also implement SOPs during Youm-e-Ali azadari and other congregations.
Earlier, Allama Sajid Naqvi’s office advised maintaining 3ft distance.
Prior to that Wifaqul Madaris had advised not to offer congregational prayers in case you cannot meet religious requirement
