Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Hamza Shafqaat said seven members of a family tested positive in Islamabad.
He identified one of the patients as the khateeb (cleric) at a mosque in F-7 and a seminary attached to it.
Therefore, ICD administration immediately sealed the mosque and seminary while isolated all the patients.
Health staff is providing medical assistance to them and admin displayed a notice on the premises informing the public to stay away.
The healthcare department is also tracing other people who remained in contact with them during the last two weeks.
