Ramazan in Pakistan will begin from Saturday because moon not sighted on Thursday.
Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman made this announcement .
He said in Karachi that the sacred month of Ramazan in Pakistan will commence from April 25.

The moon sighting body met under the chairmanship of Mufti Muneeb at Met office Karachi.
Notably, Muslims observe obligatory fast during Ramazan as per Islamic lunar calendar.
Ruet-e-Hilal or moon sighting committee decide the beginning of the holy month.
They themselves sight moon using modern means and also gather eye witness account from across he country through their subsidiaries.
Islamic traditions decide month under Islamic lunar calendar that may have either 29 or 30 days.
None of any month in Islamic lunar calendar has 28 or 31 days.
Meanwhile, countries across the globe have announced the first day of the Ramazan 2020.
Those which announced the first day of Ramazan include; Egypt, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines
The moon of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak has not been sighted anywhere in the country and 1st Ramzan-ul-Mubark will be on Saturday.
