SUC and MWM AJK agree on All Party Conference on current issues

SUC and MWM AJK agree on All Party Conference on current issues during a meeting of two parties’ leaders in Muzaffarabad.

Shia Ulema Council (SUC) AJK secretary for political affairs, Arif Hussain Naqvi called on Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) AJK secretary general Syed Allama Tasawwur Javadi.

They shared views on post Coronavirus situation, lockdown and restrictions.

SUC and MWM AJK agree

Both of them unanimously condemned takfiri outfit’s slurring campaign against Shia Muslims in Azad Kashmir (AJK).

They agreed to hold an All-Party Conference of AJK chapters of Shia representative parties for consensus on issues of common interests and concerns.

Moreover, they also discussed religious programmes which Shia Muslims hold during Ramazan.

They include: mourning on death anniversary of Mother of Faithful Bibi Khadijatul Kubra and martyrdom anniversary of Amir al Maumineen Imam Ali.

Shia Muslims also celebrate birth anniversary of Imam Hassan, offer special prayers at Qadr Night (Shabb-e-Qadr) and anniversary of revelation of Quran.

Like other Muslim brethren, they observe Quds Day during Ramazan and at the end of the month of Ramazan they hold Eidul Fitr congregations.

Meanwhile, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) chapter’s cabinet meeting held in Muzaffarabad.

It condemns baseless malicious propaganda against peaceful and law-abiding Shia Muslim community.

Allama Tasawwur Naqvi al Javadi, MWM AJK secretary general, presided over the meeting.

MWM Azad Kashmir cabinet reviewed current situation. They condemned organized hate campaign and baseless but malicious propaganda against Shia Muslims in AJK.

They discussed programmes they would hold during Ramazan.

They also decided to host an All-Shia Party consultative meeting to discuss key issues of mutual concerns.

Meanwhile, MWM’s deputy secretary general Agha Syed Talib Hamdani, Organising Secretary Fida Hussain Naqvi, Employees Wing Secretary Mumtaz Hussain Naqvi and Media Cell Secretary Kazmi also spoke.
