MWM to host Conference on Shia Martyrs in Karachi on October 18
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has announced on Thursday that Shohda-e-Rah-e-Wilayat Conference will be held in Karachi on Saturday October 18, 2014.
“These are the days of Ghadeer and Mubahila celebrations and Shia martyrs were true followers of the guardianship of 14 infallibles starting from Hazrat Mohammad, the last apostle and Prophet of God (peace be upon him),” said Allama Aijaz Behishti, a central leader of the MWM at a press conference at Karachi Press Club. Ali Hussain Naqvi and Mubashir Hassan of the MWM Karachi were also present.
Allama Behishti said that wilayat (divine guardianship) of the infallibles was an important part of Islamic principles and Shia Islam attached very much importance to the Wilayat. Since the enemies of Islam detested true path of the infallible leaders of Islam, they invented takfiri terrorists to punish Shiites for following the divine guardians.
“From Allama Arif Hussaini to Dr Mohammad Ali Naqvi and from Muzaffar Kirmani to Allama Aftab Haider Jafari, Sibt-e-Jafar and Saeed Haider Zaidi and other Shia Muslims were assassinated because they followed the true path Wilayat,” he said.
MWM’s official said that Allama Nasir Abbas Jafari, other religious scholars and family members of the martyrs would spoke at the conference. He said that commemoration of the martyrs was no less than martyrdoms hence living people should not forget this point and must attend such programs where martyrs were being remembered.
He said that Shia leaders would also announce what to do against the menace of takfiri terrorism that continued genocide against peaceful Shia Muslims.
