MWM leader condemns politicizing Coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan and urged people to fight the deadly virus as one nation.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general Allama Raja Nasir said while addressing at a press conference in Islamabad on Tuesday.

He reminded government we must fight Coronavirus threat as united people instead of politicizing the issue.

He further said that we can defeat Coronavirus threat through united efforts as one and united nation.

While denouncing malicious propaganda against and mistreatment of Zaireen (pilgrims) at Taftan border, he said the government confined pilgrims like prisoners.

Allama Raja Nasir urged the government immediately allow pilgrims at Taftan to go home soon after their negative test reports.

He further demanded that quarantine should remain only for patients and not the non-patients.

While citing the worst conditions at Taftan or elsewhere for pilgrims, he warned that the government itself would be held responsible if Coronavirus spreads.

Allama Raja Nasir also slammed PMLN leader Khawaja Asif’s irresponsible statement regarding Zaireen at Taftan. He said Khawaja Asif don’t know ground situation in this regard.

He called Balochistan government’s measures inadequate.

MWM SG exhorted Balochistan government to take needed substantial steps immediately instead of empty statements.

He appreciated Sindh government’s precautionary measures. He said Sindh government’s measures are relatively better than other provinces.

However, he also appealed to people to act upon precautionary measures which health department has announced.
