Allama Sajid Naqvi demands more facilities for pilgrims at Taftan border town.

Veteran leader and Shia Islamic scholar Allama Sajid Naqvi protested against lack of facilities and maltreatment at Taftan border town.

He said that Taftan offered nothing but unhygienic and junk food. He also lamented lack of facility which is essentially needed to protect Zaireen against cold weather.

Allama Sajid also slammed the government and the media over media trial of pilgrims despite the fact that none of them had suffered Coronavirus.

He called for respecting the fundamental rights of pilgrims during quarantine as well.

Earlier, his party’s leader Allama Nazir also slammed the government for maltreatment on the issue.

Nazir Taqvi said that the authorities concerned cleared hundreds of pilgrims. That means they had no Coronavirus.

Despite that, he lamented that governmenmt keeps pilgrims under isolation rooms.

Allama Nazir Taqvi declared it unfair and totally unacceptable.

He said that the government first kept them under isolation wards/rooms at Taftan border town.

But the government shifted them to Sukkur although their tests reports cleared them.

He condemned Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah because he ordered their shifting to Sukkur.

SUC leader expressed readiness to cooperate with the government to ensure prevention of spread of the epidemic but he warned they would protest against this unjustifiable detention of Zaireen in Sukkur.

Jafaria Alliance warns against sectarianizing of Coronaviru

Senior scholar Allama Syed Razi Jafar Naqvi urged the government to take action against malicious media campaign against Zaireen (pilgrims).

While addressing Jafaria Alliance meeting, he called for end to the media hype that aims at misleading people on Coronavirus.
