Allama Raja Nasir expresses grief and sorrow over accident in Gilgit Baltistan. A passenger van fell into Indus river near Rondu.

At least 21 people died in the mishap.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari expressed deep grief and sorrow over loss of lives.

MWM leader prayed God to rest departed souls in eternal peace.

While calling it a colossal loss, he demanded that the government must not permit any public transport vehicle to ply without witness checkup.

He also suggested that besides fitness of the vehicle, the government also needs to check the fitness of drivers because long drive needs relatively more healthy derivers.

MWM Pakistan secretary general also demanded reconstruction and repairing of Skardu road for smooth and safe travelling.

Moreover, he cited similar accidents in the past and demanded the government to take needed steps to prevent such mishaps in future.

Unfortunately, government has failed in adopting needed measures to avoid such mishaps.
