Yafis Hashmi Advocate released
Yafis Hashmi Advocate returned home after enforced disappearance of more than six months since August 2019.
He was handed over to the family in Islamabad. He has met his family members; especially young children.
His release came after a long legal battle which his family waged while Shia Missing Persons Release Committee conducted protest movement.
Due to the said struggle and efforts of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen leadership, he finally saw himself out of enforced disappearance.
Senior Shia lawyer from Multan was taken into undeclared and illegal custody in Islamabad.
Yafis Naveed Hashmi had gone to a private hospital along with his family in Islamabad.
His undeclared detention amounted to immense mental torture to his amily, especially young children.
