CM Punjab hails Pakistan Iran exemplary amicable brotherly relations during a meeting in Lahore with ambassador of Iran.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar also offered condolences to the people and the government of Iran on the martyrdom of General Qassem Soleimani.

He said that Pakistan and Iran hold exemplary and amicable brotherly relations.

CM Punjab hails Pakistan Iran ties

CM Buzdar noted Pakistan and Iran remain tied in relationship of mutual love for years.

He noted relationships between Pakistan and Iran are further improving with the passage of time.

The CM told Ambassador Mohammad Ali Hosseini of exemplary steps the Punjab government has undertaken for promoting tourism.

He said Punjab govt was also developing many other areas with regard to tourism.

Moreover, he also expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives due to Coronavirus in Iran.

He said: “Our sympathies are with the Iranian brothers and sisters and hopefully situation will improve in Iran.”

Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan Mohammad Ali Hosseini said that Iran wants promotion of cooperation between the provinces of Iran and Pakistan.

He said Iran wants it to help further strengthen bilateral ties in various sectors.
Ambassador Hosseini said that both countries have commonalities in religious, cultural and historical relations. Hence, he suggested both should take full advantage of the opportunities available to enhance bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting issues of mutual interest, promotion of bilateral relations and enhanced cooperation in various fields also came under discussion.
