Iran ambassador calls on former Prime Minister Ch Shujaat in Lahore.

Ambassador of Iran Mohammad Ali Hosseini met with former Prime Minister of Pakistan Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.

Ch Shujaat leads Pakistan Muslim League-Q as its president.

Matters of mutual interest and Iran-Pakistan ties came under discussion.

Iran ambassador calls on

Iran ambassador Hosseini emphasized the importance of expanding people-to-people contacts between the two countries.

He also laid emphasis on enhanced parliamentary ties of Iran with Pakistan besides people-to-people contacts.

The ambassador also welcomed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He said Iran is willing to join the project.

Meanwhile, Ambassador also met Punjab Assembly speaker during Lahore visit.

Chaudhry Pervaiz Elah welcomes Iran willingness to join CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) during meeting with ambassador of Iran in Lahore.

He also called for enhanced brotherly ties between Pakistan and Iran.

He said that that Pakistan wants to benefit from Iran’s experiences in various sectors.

He also announced Pakistan’s readiness to develop cooperation with Iran in the fields of mining and housing.

The speaker Punjab Assembly further said that Iran and Pakistan are two brotherly Islamic states.

He said bilateral Pakistan-Iran relations are increasing by each passing day.
