Birth anniversary of Bibi Fatima celebrated at Jamia Baisat Rajua Sadat in Chiniot.
Thousands of women participated in the annual celebrations that marked the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (AS).
Students of the Baisat University had displayed models of important events of Islamic history.
People evinced keen interest in those models and praised students working.
Meanwhile, Allama Qazi Niaz Hussain Naqvi, Allama Shabbir Bukhari, Ms Nargis Sajjad, Masooma Naqvi and others addressed.
They highlighted the holy life of Bibi Fatima Zahra. They urged all women to emulate the Great Lady of Heavens in this temporal life.

Meanwhile, many events held across Pakistan with enhanced religious fervor and reverence.
By and large, Pakistanis revere Hazrat Bibi Fatima Zahra daughter of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), Prophet of Islam and Humanity.
However, Shia Muslims have an unmatched spiritual faith in the Lady of Paradise Bibi Fatima Zahra; hence Shia neighbourhoods wore bride look.
Shia Muslims illuminated mosques, Imam Bargahs and houses and decorated streets to celebrate the birth anniversary.
Shia Islamic scholars highlighted holy life of Bibi Fatima during their speeches at celebrations.
Special events of poetry held to pay tributes to Bibi Fatima Zahra (AS).
The celebrations began after sunset on Friday. Saturday 20th Jamadius Sani was her birthday.
However, celebrations will continue this week also.
Bibi Fatima, her husband Maua Ali and her sons Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain also enjoy special status among Pakistani nation and specially Shia Muslims.
Together with Prophet Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa (PBUH), they are adored as Ahl-e-Bayt (AS).
Imamia Students Organisation (Female Wing), Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen women wing and other parties celebrate the 20 Jamadi-us-Sani as “International Mother’s Day” and also as Globan Women’s Day.
Hazrat Fatima Zahra (AS) remains a role model for women as wife, mother and daughter.
