Chehlum of Martyrs of Islamic Resistance in Islamabad on Sunday.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen deputy secretary general Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi said this while addressing a press conference.
MWM leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari had earlier announced the mammoth public meeting at Parade Ground Islamabad on Feb09.
Shia parties are also jointly organizing chehlum of General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Mohandis in Karachi Nishtar Park.
Chehlum of Martyrs of Islamic Resistance
Allama Ahmed Iqbal said that Parade Ground chehlum programme remains a crushing response to the forces of oppression.
He extolled the role which Islamic resistance and specially General Soleiman and Abdu Mahdi played for Islam, Muslims and humanity.
He said that Lt-Gen. Qassem Soleimani, Abu Mahdi Mohandis had led counterterrorism war for the protection of sacred shrines of Ahl-e-Bait (AS) and companions of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH).
Due to their heroic role, people lauded them as great martyrs whom they would pay tribute at mammoth public meeting.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Abbas also slammed US hegemonic designs in the region.
