Adviser to PM calls for expansion of trade cooperation with Iran.
Prime Minister’s adviser on Finance and Revenue Abdul Hafeez Shaikh said this during a meeting with Iran ambassador Mohammad Ali Hosseini on Tuesday.
Shaikh said that Pakistan is going to enhance brotherly relations with Iran while bilateral trade and investment remain the potential areas for furthering this cooperation.
In the meeting, both sides discussed various ways and means to enhance mutual cooperation and bilateral trade and investment.
Adviser to PM calls
Adviser referred to recent efforts which Pakistan made and statements which Prime Minister Imran Khan made for ensuring regional peace.
Shaikh further said that any escalation of tension was harmful for the regional peace.
He vowed that Pakistan would keep playing its role for any possible facilitation to de-escalate the situation.
Meanwhile, Ambassador of Iran thanked Pakistan for its support.
He hoped that the bilateral relations between the two countries would further grow in diversified fields like trade, banking and investment.
