Rawalpindi’s Chauntra police arrested two terrorists on Friday.

According to the police, they had seized two cars with arms and ammunition.

They also arrested two culprits who brought that from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A police official said that as per their sources, the terrorists were planning to use arms and ammunition for terrorist activities.

Now, they are conducting an investigation to ascertain the terror networks.

Police believe that terror networks had sought weapons supply.

However, Saddar SP Ziauddin said police seized smuggled weapons.

The weapons may have been brought for use in crimes and other terrorist activities.

While talking to the media he said they are interrogating the men for details of the rest of their accomplices.

On Thursday, the Rawalpindi police had confiscated 36 pistols, three Kalashnikovs and a rifle.

Fotunately, the police timely action has saved the garrison city from major terror attack.
