All Party Conference condemns US for assassinating General Soleimani

All Party Conference condemns US for assassinating General Soleimani in illegal airstrikes in Baghdad.

Pakistan’s ruling and opposition parties leaders participated in the conference (APC) held at Karachi Press Club under the aegis of Jafaria Alliance.

Senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party Taj Haider, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Firdous Shameem Naqvi and MQM’s Khwaja Izharul Hassan also attended the APC.

Veteran scholar Allama Razi Jafar Naqvi presided over the event.  Sunni and Shia Islamic parties leaders also largely attended the APC.

All Party Conference condemns US

They all unanimously condemned the assassination of Iran Lt-Gen Qassem Soleimani due to unlawful US airstrikes in Baghdad.

Moreover, they termed the unlawful US airstrikes as attack on Islamic world. They said these martyrdoms would aggarandise resistance to the occupiers and oppressors.

The APC participants called for US military withdrawal from the region because they consider the only way to ensure peace.

Meanwhile, they also urged Pakistan government to refrain from toeing the US line and support the legitimate demand for US pullout.

Soleimani source of inspiration

Pakistani nation revere Haj Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Mohandas due to their leading role in humiliating defeat of enemies of Muslims and Arabs.

Soleimani moment prevails across Pakistan despite passage of almost two weeks since his martyrdom.

Vigils, rallies, congregations in commemoration of Iran IRGC Quds Force and Iraqi Hashd al Shaabi commanders continue.

This remains manifestation of what Pakistanis feel and how they see these martyrdoms.

Let alone Shia Muslims, Sunnis have come forward to own the martyrs of US illegal airstrikes as Martyrs of the entire Islamic Ummah.
