Thousands of mourners attend funeral of martyr Pesh Imam

Thousands of mourners participated in the namaz-e-janaza and funeral procession of martyr Pesh Imam Maulana Sadaqat Ali on Thursday afternoon.
Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Shah-e-Karbala Imam Bargah Rizvia Society. Maulana Shaikh Ghulam Mohammad Amini led the prayers.
Maulana Sadqat Ali was laid to rest at Wadi-e-Hussain graveyard.
The participants at funeral procession with tearful eyes also raised slogans such as: Labbaik Ya Hussain (A.S.). They condemned terrorism. They were of the views that the target assassination of Maulana Sadaqat Ali was part of ongoing genocide of Shia Muslims in Pakistan. More than 200 Shia Muslims were killed last year.
