shiitenews - A Shia Pesh Imam martyredMaulana Sadaqat Ali was martyred on Wednesday night in what appeared to be a part of “genocide” of Shia Muslims all over Pakistan. Banned terrorist outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi had been claiming responsibility for attacks on Shia Muslims and on their sacred places.

Maulana Sadaqat Ali, 28, was Pesh Imam of Masjid-e-Masoomeen in Hassan Colony Karachi. He was martyred in a targeted firing on him near Choona Depot area. He was married and left behind three children and a widow.

The tragic death sparked off a peaceful protest in the area. The protestors condemned the hypocritical ruling coalition and their main party in Karachi for not taking any notice of banned terrorist outfits.

They questioned the credibility of the ruling coalition against anti-Shia terrorism. Why the terrorist banned outfits were freely moving across the country, protestors asked.

Had the ruling coalition and state institutions been serious, these outfits and their members would not have been able to cause even a scratch. These terrorists are blot on the face of whole Pakistani society.

Fresh wave of genocide of Shia Muslims was started during Muharram in Karachi. Earlier, banned terrorist outfit’s chief had publicly threatened Shia Muslims that they should refrain from azadari congregations. He also threatened that Pakistani Shia Muslims should not wear black suits during Muharram.

Shia Muslims perform azadari according to religious obligations and recommendations. Performing prayers (Namaz) is obligatory and Maulana Sadaqat Ali was leader of prayers (Presh Imam of Namaz).
