Shia Brigadier of Pakistani intelligence agency martyred in takfiri attack on Shrine

Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorists attacked Astana Fazl, a shrine of saint near 49 Tail in Sargodha (Punjab) leaving 3 three persons martyred including a Shia brigadier of an intelligence agency, and severely injuring 9 others.

Police sources told the Shiites News that 6 terrorists, riding on motorcycles, opened fire at a religious ceremony at the Astana. Brigadier Fazl Zahoor, younger brother of the shrine caretaker Zahoor Subhani and one Mohammad Ayub were martyred. The injured included Brigadier Fazl Zahoor’s gunman Amjad Mahmood, Mohammad Azim, Ahsanul Haq, Qaiser Abbas, Mohammad Zafar and Asghar Ali.

The injured were admitted to DHQ Hospital Sargodha. Three of the injured are stated to be in a precarious condition.

It is said that Brigadier Fazl Zahoor was stationed in Islamabad and used to participate in this ceremony regularly.

No police official was present at the time of the incident. According to the people gathered at the place of the incident, Brigadier Fazl Zahoor was the target of terrorists.

The attack has sparked off a reaction from Sunni and Shia parties and leaders who condemned the attack. They said that takfiri terrorists deserve public hanging so that they could be scared of the heavy price they have to pay for their anti-Islam ideology and inhuman ferocious terrorist attacks.
