Zakir-e-Ahl-e-Bait Ali Akbar Kumaili martyred in takfiri terrorist attack in Karachi

Renowned Zakir-e-Ahl-e-Bait (AS) Ali Akbar Kumaili and his secretary were martyred in a targeted attack by notorious takfiri nasbi terrorists of outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba in district central of Karachi on Saturday.

Mr. Kumaili was ambushed in Azizabad (Federal B Area) by the Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorists of banned outfit ASWJ or Sipah-e-Sahaba (Lashkar-e-Jhangvi) who sprayed volley of shots making him their target. He was seriously injured after 3 bullets hit him. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Reports had it that he and his secretary were returning from an ice depot in Azizabad Bhangoria Goth’s Industrial Area in his car when terrorists ambushed them. Both succumbed to fatal wounds at Ziauddin Hospital. He left behind 2 sons and a widow behind among other mourners. Jafaria Alliance has announced 3 days mourn and MWM and other Shia parties supported Jafaria Alliance’s call for protest.

Shia parties and leaders have condemned the targeted murder of Mr. Kumaili and shared condolence with his father Allama Abbas Kumaili, a senior Shia scholar who remained Senator of Pakistan as well. They demanded immediate action against the takfiri terrorists in Karachi and rest of Pakistan.
