Prime Minister of Pakistan cancels Malaysia visit due to Saudi pressure that aimed at aborting Kuala Lumpur Islamic Summit.
Interestingly, news regarding cancellaton of the scheduled visit came after Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Riyadh visit.
However, he met with Saudi Crown Prince MBS during that visit.
Karachi-based Express Tribune gave an amazing report on the visit. It says Pakistan assured Saudi Arabia it would not become part of any initiative, which might undermine the kingdom’s interests.
Almost all private newspapers and TV channels portrayed cancellation a done deal.
Nobody takes pain to ask why Pakistan government prefers Saudi monarchy’s interests to its own national interests.
Unfortunately, Saudi monarchy is treating Pakistan as its colony. Apparaently, Pakistan regime too caved in. Seemingly, Pakistan regime has mortgaged its sovereignty.
Moreoevr, Prime Minister of Pakistan’s cancelled visit would defame Pakistan across the world, let alone Malaysia. Now, message for any hostile regime has it they may dictate Pakistan their policy through Saudi monarchy.

Meanwhile, Arab News reported MBS meeting with Imran Khan. However, it quoted Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry.
Khan’s trip follows Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s visit earlier this week to Riyadh where Qureshi held a meeting with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Farhan bin Abdullah, to review bilateral relations between the two countries and discuss the latest regional and international developments.
