Allama Iqbal Behishti informs meeting his reservations on Pilgrimage Policy.

He urged Ministry for Religious Affairs to refrain from linking Zaireen (Pilgrimage) Policy with Hajj policy.

Prominent Shia Islamic scholar said while speaking at a meeting of the ministry on Pilgrimage Policy.

Furthermore, the scholar belonging to Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen called for maximum facilities to Zaireen (pilgrims).

However, he also made it clear that they would not support any policy that make process for and travelling of Zaireen more difficult.

Moreover, he emphasised the government must not impose any new tax on Zaireen.

Allama Behishti also turned down restrictions on numbers of pilgrims.
