Youm e Hussain held under the aegis of Asgharia in Nawabshah Quaid e Awam University.

Asgharia Students Organisation (ASO) organizes Youm e Hussain in many universities and colleges every year.

These events aim at paying homage to Imam Hussain-led Martyrs of Karbala and creating awareness about their struggle among the masses.

Moreover, Allama Syed Urooj Abbas Zaidi and ASO Pakistan president Mohsin Asghari spoke at Youm-e-Hussain.

They referred to the public opinion and said that humanity is well aware of Imam Hussain and Martyrs of Karbala.

Furthermore, they also cited that leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela also remained admirer of Imam Hussain.

Allama Urooj and Mohsin noted that Karbala remained a model for oppressed humanity for struggle against oppression.

Therefore, public leaders emulate Karbala model against forces of tyranny.
