Supreme Court acquits Al Mohsin Hall case accused and nullified SHC judgment against them.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa heard the appeal against Sindh High Court’s verdict.

Now the Supreme Court declared that SHC judgment null and void.

Furthermore, the apex court acquitted Syed Asif, Shahid Jiwani and all others whom the SHC had wrongly convicted.

Auqaf Department

However, the SC has assigned Auqaf department to ensure looking after the al-Mohsin Trust.

Unfortunately, the accusers also named some scholars in the case and SHC too failed to do justice in the case.

Backgrounder

The rival party had filed a case against governing body of Al-Mohsin Trust over a dispute.

The former had run the Trust in past. However, they also dragged those in the case who had no affiliation with that Trust under any capacity.

The two parties had a dispute. The latter had got control due to poor performance of the former.

Supreme Court acquits

Finally, the apex court of Pakistan chief justice Asif Saeeed Khosa nullified the unjust order against them. And acquitted them.

Factually, Al Mohsin Trust runs an orphanage. Although called Hall, it has a vast ground with a Hall (Imam Bargah) and mosque.
