Rehman Malik-led PPP delegation meets Allama Shaheedi of the MWM

Pakistan Peoples Party’s Rehman Malik-led committee met Allama Amin Shaheedi, deputy secretary general of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, and member of Council of Islamic Ideology (CII).

Sabir Baloch, Deputy Chairman of the Senate, Nadeem Afzal Chan, former chairman of Standing Committee of National Assembly and MNA Akhunzada Chatan, were also included in Rehman Malik-led delegation.

They wanted Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen leadership to play their role to overcome the present crisis.

In response, Allama Shaheedi asked the PPP to side with the Revolution March against the arrogant Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif whose incapability and incompetence engendered present situation.

He reminded that Nawaz Sharif was acting like a monarch and during his tenure, innocent Pakistanis are being murdered. He said that MWM backed Dr Tahir ul Qadri’s legitimate demands for making Pakistan a welfare state in accordance with the dreams of pioneers of Pakistan.
