Renowned intellectual Saqib Akbar has predicted that a new Pakistan would be emerged tomorrow if the leadership of Revolution and Freedom March demonstrated prudence today.

In his latest article, he said, now two sides have come together and both are sitting outside the Parliament House. Hence, he proposed, leaderships of two sides should form joint committees to hold talks with the government. He advised that talks should be held and the Opposition outside Parliament should not look for other options.

Saqib Akbar said that free and fair elections under a transparent electoral system, competent and capable representative leadership and accountability of the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats are legitimate demands of the Long Marches. Therefore, he asked the government, to accept the demands.

He also appreciated the restraint being expressed by the PMLN government saying that the government deserves praise for not using security institutions against the protestors.
