MWM and allies’ indefinite sit-in to back Inqilab March’s demands

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and its allied parties have announced that they are going to begin a sit-in on Monday evening to endorse the charter of demands presented by the leaders of Inqilab March in Islamabad.

They said that the sit-in to be staged at Numaish Chowrangi outside mausoleum of founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah and that would continue till the Inqilab March.

Ali Hussain Naqvi and Maulana Ali Anwar Jafari of the MWM said that their sit-in and protest was being staged on a call from Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of the MWM.

PMLQ’s Jafar ul Hassan and Samar Mehdi, Pakistan Awami Tehrik’s Qazi Zahid Hussain and Mehmood Memon, Sahibzada Azhar Raza of Sunni Ittehad Council, and Matloob Awan of Sunni Tehrik expressed support for the MWM’s sit-in protest.

They urged the government of the PMLN to step down. They asked the rulers to quit because they are involved in Model Town massacre and they should face trial for their crime. They said that all the demands of the Inqilab March were legitimate and nothing illegal was desired by the leadership of Inqilab March.
