Sunni Shia unity witnessed at a meeting on Chehlum and Data Darbar urs in Lahore with DC.Specially, the inter-sectarian Islamic unity came to fore at a meeting of Deputy Commissioner Lahore.

Particularly, the license holder of Chehlum Taazia procession, Sunni scholar Usman Noori and others attended.

Furthermore, DC Asghar Joiya discussed arrangements for said two events. Notably, concerned officials of Auqaf department also attended the huddle.

Syed Mohammad Ali Shamsi, Lal Shah, Agha Abbas Kazmi, Malik Amir Mukhtar, Syed Muzammil and Safdar Ali Shah represented Shias.  Khwaja Basharat Karbalai, Maulana Hafiz Kazim Raza Naqvi, Tauqeer Baba, Asif Zaidi, Jafar Shah, Qasim also attended.

Moreover, the meeting finalised arrangements for the Chehlum (Arbaeen) taazia procession and urs of Data Darbar.

Parliamentary Secretary for Religious Affairs and a leader of PTI Aftab Jahangir, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Merajul Huda Siddiqui, Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran leader Allama Aftab Azhar, Milli Yakjehti Council Karachi president and a leader of JUP-Noorani Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani and Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader Zafar Iqbal Qadri also spoke.
