No to Terrorism: Shia Muslims observe black day to mourn terrorism in Khanpur Chehlum procession

asif-mwmPakistan’s Shia Muslims observe mourning day on Friday in all over Pakistan to condemn the terrorism in Khanpur chehlum procession and non-arrest of the terrorists involved in that heinous crime.

Almost all parties and groups, Ulema and Zakireen participated in the countrywide protest. They also demanded that Punjab Government should be dismissed for ongoing terrorism and flexibility being shown to the terrorists. They demanded suo motu notice by chief justice as well.  

In Karachi, main demonstration was staged outside Khoja Jamey Masjid Kharadar. Shia Ulema Council had given the call for countrywide mourning and protest day.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Malir chapter held another demonstration outside of Hussaini Jamey Masjid. Maulana Ali Anwar and Salman Hussaini spoke to the demonstrators.

The protestors were raising slogans against terrorists for blast in which more than 21 maumineen/azadars were martyred. They were also raising slogans against the government and relevant departments’ high-officials who failed to provide security to chehlum procession.  Their banners were inscribed with slogans: No to terrorism. Federal government should dismiss Punjab provincial government. 

Jaffaria Alliance had given a call for black day. Allama Abbas Kumaili, Maulana Hussain Masoodi, Allama Nisar Qalandari, Allama Furqan Haider Abidi, Allama Baqir Zaidi, Allama Jafar Raza, Salman Mujtaba and Laeequzzaman demanded of the Chief Justice to take suo motu notice of the fatal blast in Khanpur Chehlum procession.

They demanded that case be registered against the terrorists without any delay.
