Pakistan eyes major role to end tension between Iran and US

Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed optimism Pakistan would play major role to deescalate tension between Iran and United States.

Notably, he expressed this hope in a meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in New York.

The two leaders met on the sidelines of the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Moreover, Imran Khan also referred to Iran’s assistance to Pakistani government and people over the past decades.

And then expressed readiness for establishing cooperation for de-escalation of tensions in the region, according to IRNA.
