Allama Imami says 8 Shawwal blackest day because of demolition of Jannat ul Baqi

Allama Mukhtar Imami, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has said that 8th of Shawwal, 1435 A.H. was the blacked day in the history of Islam and Muslims when sacred shrines and graves of infallible leaders of Islam were demolished in Jannat ul Baqi, Medina.

“Silence of the Muslim leaders around the world against the Saudi monarchy’s brutal inhuman and anti-Islam act of demolition had encouraged the takfiri terrorists to demolish the holy shrines in Syria and Iraq,” he said while speaking at a seminar on the anniversary of demolition of shrines and graves in Jannat ul Baqi graveyard.

The MWM official said that Saudi Wahhabis razed the Islamic sanctities earning the divine wrath and anger of the Sunni and Shia Muslims around the world. He said that had the Saudi Wahhabis were punished for their heinous crime, holy shrines of God’s Prophets, Ahl-e-Bait (AS) and Companions of Hazrat Mohammad, the last apostle and Prophet of God, would not have been destroyed in Syria and Iraq.

“No Muslim can tolerate this sacrilege of the Islamic sanctities. Muslims now are more awakened and aware of the situation. Their insight now compels them to react to such atrocious terrorist attacks on the sanctities hence takfiri and Wahhabi terrorists should be punished now,” he urged.

Allama Imami urged the Muslim leaders and scholars and also the UNESCO to take action for reconstruction of the shrines on the graves of infallible Imams in Jannat ul Baqi. He demanded that Jannat ul Baqi should be put under the international Islamic control.
