MWM announces countrywide programs on 26th martyrdom anniversary of Allama Arif Hussain al Hussaini

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has announced weeklong programs to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Allama Arif Hussain al Hussaini who was assassinated on August 5, 1988.

Speaking at the party meeting at provincial secretariat here, he said, MWM would observe Martyrs Week to pay homage to the martyrs and leader of the martyrs in Pakistan Allama Arif Hussaini.

“I ask you to hold Quran Khwanis, seminars and also congregations to mourn the loss of great people besides paying homage to them,” he urged the MWM officials.

Allama Jafari said that Allama Arif Hussaini was the only revolutionary messenger of Imam Khomeini in Pakistan. He said that Allama Hussaini struggled for the legitimate rights f downtrodden people of Pakistan. He said that Allama Hussaini unveiled the imperialists and their stooges in Pakistan hence they got him assassinated.

“Martyrs are vanguards of revolution and their sacred blood convince faithful youths to continue their mission and sacrifice everything for the noble divine cause of the martyrs. Therefore, martyrs are the source of great inspiration for us,” he said.

The MWM’s top official said that his party’s alliance with Sunni Ittehad Council and support to Dr Tahir ul Qadri was in accordance with the teachings of great martyr leader of Pakistan Allama Arif Hussain al Hussaini who always stressed on Shia-Sunni unity.
