Night-long Azadari congregations on annual Chehlum of Imam Hussain (AS) / martyrs of Karbala

Like all over the world, Pakistanis azadars have started preparing for nightlong Azadari congregations in all big and small cities and villages.

Shiite News Correspondents have reported that Majalis and matami processions were being held in commemoration of Imam Hussain (AS) and the martyrs of Karbala.

The areas where azadari is being held are: Parachinar, Kurrum agency, Kohat, Hangu, Peshawar Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit, Baltistan, Abbotabad Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Jhang, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Sadiqabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Sibbi, Quetta, Lasbela, Kahirpur Mirs, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad and Karachi and many other parts of the country.

Special security arrangements have been made to protect azadars and azadari congregations from the terrorists of banned Nasbi terrorist outfits.

The night long azadari will continue till early in the morning. The azadar will resume azadari on Sunday and participate in juloos-e-chehlum.

In Karachi, main matami juloos will be started from Nishtar Park that will culminate passing through itys traditional route.

Police and administration have identified entry and exit points and sealed many points leading to the route of the juloos-e-chehlum through containers.
