Shia Muslims brought out Asad Ashura mourning processions in commemoration of martyrs of Karbala, including their leader Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS).
Tens of thousands of mourners participated in the mourning processions in Gamba, Skardu.
Reports had it at least 15 mourning processions with alams, Zuljanah, taazia/taboot taken out.
Most importantly, main procession brought out from Imam Bargah Sadiq (AS) that culminated at Khanqah-e-Moallah in Gamba, Skardu.
Earlier, Shia mourners also held mourning congregations where speakers highlighted various aspects of sacred life of Imam Hussain (AS).
Furthermore, they paid homage to great martyrs of humanity who put unmatched resistance to the forces of tyranny in Karbala.
Moreover, many others set up sabeel of water, soft drink, etc, for the procession. Meanwhile, medical camps were also set up.
