Allama Rahat Hussaini demands immediate release of Sultan Raees

Gilgit Friday prayers’ leader Allama Rahat Hussaini demanded that Awami Action Committee leader Molana Sultan Raees must be released forthwith.

Most importantly, he cited that Shia, Sunni and Ismaili communities had jointly established Awami Action Committee.

Furthermore, Allama Syed Rahat Hussain al-Hussaini noted the committee aims to get genuine public issues resolved through peaceful struggle.

Therefore, he declared his arrest a deliberate attempt to deny people of Gilgit Baltistan their legitimate rights.

Furthermore, he said, Sultan Raees was playing an exemplary role nowadays but detaining him in a case of 2012 made no sense.

Moreover, Allama Rahat lauded his role as Awami Action Committee chairman. He also made clear that Sultan had been struggling in public interest unlike his past activism for other platform.

Meanwhile, he demanded recovery of three persons who had gone missing in Bagrot.
