Majlis-e-Wehdat and Tehreek-e-Insaf agreed on 13 points agenda including to eradicate American influence from Pakistan

Imrankhan-rajanasirMajlis-e-Wehdatul Muslameen (MWM) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have agreed on the 13 points agenda to bring out Pakistan from the present prevailing situation including the elimination of emerging American influence from the country.

Addressing a joint press conference at MWM Central office after holding an hour long meeting between leaders of both parties, Central Secretary General of Majlis-e-Wehadatul Muslameen (MWM) Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafaria and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan underlined the need to decide the working charter among Political and religious parties of the country to bring out the country from present crises.

The leaders of both parties stressed the need of independent foreign policy of the country and agreed on the complete elimination of the NATO supplies from Pakistan.

They urged the friendly relation with the neighboring and brother countries of Pakistan and emphasized to chalk out the strategy to end the discriminatory policies prompting the religious terrorism and extremism in Pakistan.

The leaders demanded of the complete constitutional autonomy to Gigit-Baltistan province and to address the discriminatory policies with the people of Balochistan.

MWM Central Secretary General Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafaria and PTI Chairman Imran Khan ruled out the presence of Shia and Sunni conflict in the country saying that some agents of America are hatching the conspiracy of sectarian strife in the country to fulfill their vested interest.

On the occasion, Imran Khan said there was no reason to keep more than one and half lakh people in jail if a letter could not be written to the Swiss officials against President Zardari.

The Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has warned that if the government tried to take any action against the Supreme Court and Chief Justice under the pretext of democracy and sovereignty of the parliament, his party’s tsunami would come on roads.

He said there was no harm if people vote for enforcement of Islamic system but enforcement of any system through the force of gun would be undemocratic. He said his party would try to enforce the system of welfare state on the pattern of Scandinavian counties which is close to Islamic system.

Imran Khan said many prominent leaders from major parties including ministers are interested to join the PTI and despite interaction with them, the PTI has stopped their entry for the time being.

Imran Khan said his party was working to unite the people and do not favour doing politics in the name of Islam. Without naming Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Imran Khan said one Maulana uses name of Islam in politics and becomes part of every government. He said Islam preaches humanity, equality and justice and he wanted a foreign policy of the country that protects its vital interests.

The PTI chief said that the poor in the country were being crushed under inflation while the affluent class was becoming richer and richer. He said he does not believe in a system that promotes hatred. He said some people were exploiting the masses in the name of provincial deprivation to attain their political goals. He said Balochistan was being treated like a colony.

In reply to a question, Imran Khan said that an attack was expected on the chief justice and keeping view that danger, he has not convened the meeting of CEC before time and checked the fast moving speed of the party. He said in certain constituencies, people who had won or lost elections in the past were interested to join the party which would create groups within the country. “I have formed a political committee to decide about who should join the party,” he said.

He said no party was above differences which are part of politics and if there were any differences in his party, it would be his duty to bring them to an end.

MWM Central leader Allama Amin Shaheedi, Allama Ejaz Bahishti, MWM Political secretary Ali Osat, Maulana Maqsood Domki, Allama Asghar Askari and others were present in the meeting from MWM side.
