Syria: Turkish-backed rebels killed 4 Russian troops

The Turkish-backed rebels from the National Liberation Front (NLF) reportedly killed four Russian troops in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate this evening.

The National Liberation Front released their statement via their official media wing; however, the Russian Ministry of Defense has yet to corroborate these claims.

The last time the Turkish-backed rebels killed Russian military personnel, they responded with a massive attack on the militant positions; this would later prompt Turkey to interject and ease tensions.
