Syrian Army Finds American Missiles at Terrorists’ Positions in Al-Dumayr
The Syrian Army troops continued mop-up operation in the newly-freed town of al-Dumayr on Saturday and discovered a large volume of arms and ammunition, including US-made anti-tank missiles.
The army units found a large volume of arms and ammunition in Jeish al-Islam’s depots in al-Mohatah region in al-Dumayr, including rockets, Grad missiles, mortar shell, bombs, RPG rockets, landmines, remote control devices and TOW anti-tank missiles made in the US.
Also, the army soldiers found a turnery workshop used by Jeish al-Islam for manufacturing bombs and missiles.
The army units further found a prison in the basement of the turnery workshop.
Field sources reported on Friday that the army troops seized control over the key town of al-Dumayr in Northern Damascus after evacuation of Jeish al-Islam terrorists from the town ended,.
The sources said that a sum of 1,694 Jeish al-Islam terrorists and their family members left al-Dumayr in Eastern Qalamoun for the town of Jarabulus in Northeastern Aleppo, adding that several security units of the army further entered the town and hoisted the country’s flag in the region.
