Bahrain Forces Kidnapped Two Former Member of Al Wefaq

Bahraini forces have kidnapped two former members of the country’s largest political party, Al Wefaq, in yet another attempt to crush the opposition.

Mattar Ibrahim Mattar and Jawad Fairooz were whisked away from their houses on Monday, Reuters reported.

The two had resigned from the parliament in February to protest Manama’s deadly crackdown on opposition demonstrations.
