Statement by Bahrain Senior Shia Scholars: Stop Violation Against Masjids and Worship Places

The leading Shia clerics of Bahrain Ayatullah Sheikh Issam Qassem, Ayatullah  Sayyed Jawad al Wida’ei, Sayyed Abdullah Al Gariffi  , Sheikh Abdul-Hussein Al Stree and  Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Rabie in their joint statement strongly condemned the violation of human rights, demolition of Mosques, burning of Holy Quran and attack of Saudi-Wahabi forces on the mourning meetings of Hazrat Fatima Zehra (sa) martyrdom.
The top clerics in a communique issued said that ‘What happens in Bahrain from the demolition of Masjids and worship places to burning the copies of the holy Quran and assault on Husseiniyahs is very bad and dangerous, because these are violation against the sanctity of Islam, and the confiscation of the freedom of the rites, and this will not be tolerated, and it is a black point in the history of this country, so we:
Strongly condemn these violations and practices ..
We call for immediate halt of suspensions ..
We invite the world to severely condemn these savage activities by Al-Khalifa Regime
