Turkey Shias and Sunnis Commemorate Arbaeen

Sunnis attended a ceremony held by Shias on the occasion of Arbaeen in Istanbul, Turkey.Some 15000 Shia devotees of Imam Hussein (AS) accompanied by Sunnis took part in the mourning ceremony marking the Arbaeen.It was held at Baghjilar Sport complex on January 23.

Ayatollah Seyyed Hosseini Bushehri, Qom interim Friday Prayer Leader, Ali Yujeh, head of Alavi Religious Services and Islam Foundation , Salaheddin Yaziji, head of Islamic Colleges Foundation, Sinan Kilich, an official with the Institute for Introduction and Education of Jafari Belief and Zaki Oghli, Sakari Mayor, were among the prominent figures who addressed the event.

The ceremony was organized by Alavi Religious Services and Islam Foundation in cooperation with the Islamic Colleges Foundation and the Institute for Introduction and Education of Jafari Belief.
