Istanbul to Host Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) in the Quran and Sunna Conference

An international Conference featuring “Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) in the Quran and Sunna” will begin today, December 24, in Istanbul, Turkey.The conference is held by the theology faculty of Marmara University in cooperation with the Society for Reviving and Promoting Ahl-ul-Bayt’s (AS) Teachings and the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Foundation.Organized on the occasion of the 1400th Anniversary of the Holy Quran revelation, the two -day conference will be attended by scholars and thinkers from Turkey, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Syria, Iraq and the Republic of Azerbaijan.Turkey’s Minister of Religious Affairs Farouq Chilk, and head of the country’s Dianat Department will be present at the opening ceremony today. From Iran, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Taskhiri, accompanied by a delegation of scholars, will attend the conference.
