Lebanon Invited to Astana Talks on Syria as Observers

Iran, Turkey and Russia agreed on inviting Lebanon and Iraq to Astana talks on Syria as observers, according to a joint statement.
The statement which was issued after the twelfth round of Astana talks in the Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan mentioned that the Iranian, Turkish and Russian delegations mulled increasing the number of observers, deciding to invite Lebanon and Iraq.
