The Russian Federation retrieved and returned the body of an Israeli soldier that was killed during the Lebanese Civil War.
According to Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), the remains of Sgt. Maj. Zachary Baumel was returned to Israel after his death 37 years ago.
The remains of Sgt. Maj. Zachary Baumel, who was killed in the battle of Sultan Yaqub in eastern Lebanon some 37 years ago.
