Speaker Berri: Israeli Violation A Direct Message of Threat

Lebanese Speaker Nabih Berri slammed the Israeli violation in the southern city of Sidon on Sunday as a “direct message of threat” to Lebanon.

In remarks published by Lebanese media on Monday, Berri said “while we are busy with our internal disputes, Israel carries out its drills, violates our airspace and breaks the sound barrier in Sidon.”

The Israeli violation in Sidon is a direct message of threat to Lebanon, Berri said, noting that the Zionist enemy through its message is telling the Lebanese that “we are here and we did not forget you.”

Israeli warplanes on Sunday carried out a fake air raid above Sidon, breaking the sound barrier, as part of drills that was launched last Tuesday.
