Lebanese army ends first phase of monopoly of arms

A Lebanese army statement that it has restricted any arms in the south litany area in south Lebanon was met by more Israeli strikes killing more Lebanese civilians. Experts see that the ball now is in the US court to force Israel to take the next step of withdrawing from Lebanese territory.
