At 1:38 a.m., the Israeli occupation launched two airstrikes targeting a commercial building in al-Ghaziyeh, located in the Saida governorate of South Lebanon.

According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in the South, the attack struck the industrial zone, a vital commercial area in al-Ghaziyeh, and destroyed a three-story structure that housed several shops.

The targeted building was reduced to rubble, and the blast caused severe material damage to surrounding buildings and shops in the Siniq area. The raid came during the early hours of the morning, when the area was largely inactive but still occupied by workers.

A preliminary toll confirms that at least two workers were injured in the attack. Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after the strike to assess the damage and assist the wounded.

Series of Israeli airstrikes target Lebanon’s south, Bekaa
The attack comes after Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of air strikes targeting Lebanon’s southern coastline, including areas near Sarafand and Tebna, amid continued military escalation.

Local sources reported that the latest strikes hit an agricultural valley located between Saksakiye and Sarafand, along the coastal stretch between Saida and Tyre. At least three air raids were recorded in the area, most of them carried out by fighter jets rather than surface-to-surface missiles, contrary to some initial reports. Witnesses said Israeli F-16 aircraft were visible in the sky at the time of the strikes.

The IOF also carried out multiple air raids targeting buildings in the Lebanese towns of Aanan, Kfar Hatta, al-Manara, and Ain al-Tineh, in continued violation of the ceasefire agreement.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in the western Bekaa reported that the strikes hit buildings that had previously been threatened in Ain al-Tineh and al-Manara. The Lebanese National News Agency said the occupation bombed the home of martyr Sharshabil al-Sayyed, who was assassinated last year, in the town of al-Manara.

Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in southern Lebanon said Israeli warplanes targeted the threatened house in the town of Aanan, located in the Jezzine district, and carried out a separate air raid on Kfar Hatta in the Sidon district.

The strikes come amid ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire, raising concerns over further escalation along the Lebanese front.
