South Lebanon: Citizen Martyred as Israeli Enemy Steps Up Attacks
A Lebanese citizen was martyred on Monday in an Israeli strike on south Lebanon, as the enemy went ahead with attacks in violation of the ceasefire which ended the brutal Israeli 66-day war on Lebanon in late 2024.
Al-Manar correspondent reported an Israeli drone strike on a Rapid vehicle on road linking Ain Al-Mizrab town to Tebnin.
The Lebanese Health Ministry then reported that the strike killed a Lebanese citizen.
Our correspondent reported that the Rapid vehicle was targeted earlier by another drone strike on a road in the southern town of Sarbin.
The driver survived the first strike but was martyred in the second.
Local media identified the martyr as Hussein Sari Baddah. Netizens on social media hailed the courage of martyr Baddah “who continued his path despite being targeted by an Israeli drone.”
Al-Manar reporter said earlier on Monday that an Israeli force carried out an incurion into the Lebanese territory overnight Sunday-Monday.
The Israeli force crossed the fence and provocatively toured an area between Adaisseh and Markaba southern border towns. The occupation forces put up hostile posters at a tile factory in the area which they raided, according to our correspondent.
