Hezbollah Mourns Senior Commander Hajj Ali Karaki (Abu Al-Fadl), Martyred in Israeli Strike on Beirut’s Dahiyeh
Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has announced the martyrdom of its senior commander, Hajj Ali Karaki (Abu Al-Fadl), on the path to Al-Quds.
In a statement released today, Sunday, Hezbollah declared that the senior commander “was martyred alongside a group of his brothers in the brutal Israeli raid on Haret Hreik, in the company of our greatest martyr, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah.” The statement emphasized that this is “a great honor and a blessed martyrdom beyond comparison.”
The statement highlighted the life of the martyred commander, describing it as one of immense sacrifice. It noted that “Hajj Abu Al-Fadl led the Islamic Resistance fighters in the south since the Zionist invasion of 1982, actively participating in and commanding all heroic confrontations with the Zionist enemy. His leadership played a pivotal role in the liberation of 2000 and the divine victory of July 2006.”
“Hajj Ali Karaki (Abu Al-Fadl) was directly responsible for commanding the southern front, overseeing all its axes and units in the support front from October 8, 2023, until his blessed martyrdom,” the statement further detailed.
Hezbollah concluded by offering condolences to our Master, Imam Al-Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), to His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and to all fighters and the families of martyrs on the martyrdom of this esteemed commander.
